Government under fire for failure to fix public problems

Prime Minister Imran Khan and his ministers have declared ex-CJ Saqib Nisar’s clip fake too early as proper probe has not begun, remarked senior journalists and analysts during DNA programme.
The government has left the people in the lurch, remarked senior journalists and analysts Salim Bokhari, Iftikhar Ahmad, PJ Mir and Javed Iqbal.
Hike in the prices of essential items has been going unabated while the government has been busy with blaming the crises on the previous governments, they observed.
Salim Bokhari said the probe into the authenticity of the controversial audio clip is yet to be done but Prime Minister Imran Khan declare it fake.
Moreover accused Rana Shamim has not appeared in the court and Saqib Nisar has not been summoned, he said, adding that the premier and his team announced their verdict.
The people have been finding it hard to make ends meet but the government has turned a deaf ear, he rued.
Regarding Maryam Nawaz remarks about giving advertisements, the PML-N has clarified that it was a party’s matter. It is the prerogative of the party to decide who should give advertisements
Salim Bokhari said the PML-N has clarified the issue of Maryam Nawaz remarks about funds for ads.
He said Ahmad Noorani's family is being harassed and he made a request to the chief justice of Pakistan for look into the matter. He said the top court was requested to summon Saqib Nisar and him for an inquiry.
PJ Mir said the system itself supports corruption. If they are caught on corruption charges, there is no punishment, he said adding that everyone including politicians, bureaucracy, journalists and contractors faced corruption cases.
