Islamabad police mull strategies to deal with PTI long march

The Inspector General of Police (IG) Islamabad has called an important meeting of the police officials to chalk out strategies about how to tackle Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
All DIGs and SSPs will attend the meeting today evening, according to sources, and all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, and SHOs have been given instructions to ensure attendance.
In order to combat/deal with the long march, an action plan will be devised during the meeting as per the government's directives and the meeting report will be submitted to the Interior Ministry following the meeting.
Likewise, there will be a detailed discussion on sealing the entrances of Islamabad, said the sources, adding that the police has also compiled a record of Tehreek-e-Insaf local leadership.
