The Peshawar High Court while accepting the pre-arrest bail of Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar has reserved its judgement on the petition, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The court accepted the pre-arrest bail of the PML-N leader and spouse of Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday. Justice Lal Jan was presiding over the court. 

The court had deferred its decision on April 22 due to the absence of Capt Safdar. 

Capt Safdar submitted a pre-arrest bail application in the PHC to avoid his arrest by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). 

The accountability body is investigating an assets beyond means case against him. 

The NAB has already issued Capt Safdar’s arrest warrants.
