Elections will be held on time: Marriyum

Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb Wednesday rejected PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s demand for early elections and said general elections will be held on time.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the federal minister address a press conference after the federal cabinet meeting presided by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.
She told the media persons that the detailed report of the recent Karachi terror blast incidents in front of the Confucius Institute has been sought in the cabinet meeting.
Marriyum said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given orders of tightening the security of Chinese and other foreigners working on different projects in the country.
The federal minister said PM Shehbaz Sharif has also issued instructions to the Interior Ministry regarding a comprehensive plan against terrorism.
She also informed the media that the federal cabinet has given approval of appointing Asim Ahmed as the new Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Marriyum said during the Imran Khan’s regime, media workers were made unemployed and have broken ribs of the journalists.
Information Minister Marriyum said electricity, gas, and other necessities have become expensive because of just the incompetence of the last regime of Imran Khan.
Marriyum said the previous regime of Imran Khan has terrorized the national economy and victimized the opposition politically.
She said Imran Khan's only fear is the popularity of Shahbaz Sharif due to his spirit of service to the nation.
