Federal govt notifies appointments, transfers and postings 

The federal government has appointed Mirza Muhammad Irfan Baig as Member of ‎the Prime Minister's Inspection Commission on a two-year contract starting October 12, 2025.‎ 

According to Cabinet division notification, Mian Abdul Qadir Shah, a Grade-19 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been transferred from ‎Balochistan to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, while the services of Kashif Nabi, a Grade-18 PAS officer ‎awaiting appointment, have been handed over to the Sindh government.‎ 

Asif Nawaz, a Grade-18 PAS officer serving in the Gilgit-Baltistan government, has been posted as ‎Provincial Coordinator for the E4H Program Punjab Project on deputation for three years. 

Section Officer Nisar ‎Azmat Chatta has been transferred from the Establishment Division to the Housing and Works Division, while ‎Section Officer Dr. Kashif Hussain has been shifted from the Overseas Pakistanis Division to the National Health ‎Division.‎ 

Other changes include the appointment of HBFC Manager Ikramullah Khan as Section Officer in the Finance ‎Division, and Accounts Officer Sohail Ahmed of the Privatization Commission as Section Officer in the Ministry of ‎Planning on deputation. Section Officer Ali Hasnain of the Planning Ministry has been transferred to the Capital ‎Development Authority (CDA).‎

In another notification, the transfer of Dawood Saleemi, a Grade-17 PAS officer posted in the Khyber ‎Pakhtunkhwa government, to the Islamabad District Administration has been cancelled. He will continue his duties ‎in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Establishment Division has issued separate notifications regarding all these ‎appointments and transfers.‎
