PTI announces resigning from standing committees, boycott of by-polls

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced to resign from standing committees and boycott bye-elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
First, Faisal Amin, brother of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, also tendered his resignation from the economic affairs committee, food security, and parliamentary task force.
A statement issued by the PTI stated the political committee thanked PTI founder Imran Khan for reposing his confidence in the Committee.
The statement also said that other political matters were forwarded to the political committee. The political committee expressed serious concerns about the daily hearings of the Toshakhana-II case. PTI's political committee stated that the daily hearings directly affect the basic rights of the accused and create hurdles to delivering justice.
The political committee said that all those leaders who were disqualified due to their involvement in the May 9 riots are true representatives of PTI.
The statement paid glowing tributes to PTI leaders who were awarded illegal jail terms. The PTI statement announced that the party will take part in the NA-129 bye-elections.
The Political Committee decided to field their candidate for the vacant post of late Mian Mohammad Azhar.
