Sohrab is guilty! Zanjeerain jirga delivers death verdict after Shireen’s explosive confession
Zanjeerain delivered a major shock as Shireen finally exposed Sohrab Khan’s secrets before the tribal elders. Her confession turned the entire situation against Sohrab and led to a dramatic decision over his punishment, while Sarbuland was left devastated after learning the truth about Bano.
Shireen, played by Anaya Shah, was called before the jirga and asked to reveal what she knew about Sohrab, portrayed by Raza Ali Abid. Instead of protecting him, she admitted her own involvement and opened up about the crimes connected to his plans.
Shireen explained that Sohrab had won her trust with promises of marriage while pursuing his own ambitions. She also admitted that she had helped him in his schemes. At the same time, she turned against him and warned the elders about his character, arguing that a man who could betray his own family could never remain loyal to her.
Her confession became the episode’s biggest turning point. She admitted that she had poisoned Sher Dil and had also tried to poison Sarbuland, while revealing that she was involved in Bano’s murder and knew what had happened to her.
The revelations changed the elders’ view of Sohrab completely. Following Shireen’s testimony, the jirga decided that Sohrab should be hanged for his crimes, taking the storyline towards one of its most serious confrontations yet.
Sarbuland Khan, played by Danyal Zafar, was then faced with the painful responsibility of dealing with the punishment ordered against Sohrab. The decision became even more difficult for him because the same confession also confirmed the truth he had been desperately trying to uncover about Bano.
After hearing what happened to Bano, Sarbuland was left heartbroken. He had continued hoping that she might somehow still be alive, but Shireen’s confession destroyed that last hope.
Overcome by grief, Sarbuland went to Bano’s grave after learning the truth. The emotional scene showed him struggling to accept her death before he eventually returned home completely broken.
Back at home, Sarbuland broke down in front of Rabiya, played by Sajal Aly. He expressed his pain over losing Bano and the crushing realisation that the person he had hoped to find alive was gone forever.
Shireen’s confession also marks a major change in her own character. For much of the story, she remained closely tied to Sohrab and became involved in his schemes. Her recent decision to reveal everything comes after Sohrab betrayed her and refused to honour the promises he had made to her.
Earlier episodes showed Shireen dealing with the consequences of his treatment and the secrets she had been carrying.
The episode has now pushed Zanjeerain into a much darker phase. Sohrab’s carefully protected secrets are out in the open, while Sarbuland must deal with both his family’s betrayal and the loss of Bano.
