HEC bans admissions in Lakki Marwat University

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has completely banned admissions and affiliation in the Lakki Marwat University (LMU) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the notification issued by the HEC officials, the ban has been imposed due to serious irregularities and non-implementation of Higher Education Commission guidelines.

There will be a complete ban on new admissions at Lakki Marwat University, HEC said.

Moreover, the education commission also warned all the students not to be admitted to the University or seek affiliations with the University of Lakki Marwat.

It said that there was a country-wide ban on granting fresh admissions.
