Flight operation of AirSial was badly affected as more than 200 passengers who were scheduled to arrive in Lahore from Jeddah on December 24 are still stranded in Saudi city waiting for a “rescue”, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to details, these pilgrims were scheduled to arrive in Lahore from Jeddah through AirSial flight No. 717.

The airline’s administration informed the pilgrims that the flight had failed to depart due to some technical issues, and later all the passengers were shifted to a hotel.

One passenger said that after December 24, 2025, no representative from AirSial reached the hotel to meet them.

The passenger went on to say that despite the passage of three days, the airline’s administration failed to give them the final date of departure.

The majority of pilgrims have already fallen sick due to unhygienic food being supplied to them, and the old passengers are facing a shortage of medicines.

The hotel management informed the passengers that they did not have medicines. The passengers demanded that the airline’s high-ups take immediate steps to resolve their issues.
