Presidential election schedule unveiled by ECP

The completion of the electoral college, a crucial step in the process of electing the President of Pakistan, is set to conclude by February 29th, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources, following the completion of the Electoral College, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will unveil the schedule and public notice for the upcoming Presidential election on March 1st, 2024.

According to constitution, a designated day will be fixed for the submission of nominations by prospective candidates.

According to the proposed program, aspiring candidates will have to submit their nomination papers to any presiding office by 12:00 PM on March 2.

In a bid to facilitate the nomination process, the ECP has made provisions for all aspiring candidates to obtain nomination forms from its offices starting today.

For further information and guidance regarding the electoral process, interested parties are encouraged to reach out to the Election Commission.

The Commission stands ready to address inquiries and provide necessary assistance to stakeholders navigating the intricacies of the electoral framework, the sources added.
