The federal government has taken back the services of the brother of JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Engineer Ziaur Rehman from Sindh.
In a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Engineer Zia has been asked to report to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. His services have been rendered to the Sindh some six months ago.
The move came after the Sindh government appointed Zia as Deputy Commissioner Central Karachi.
The PPP government has accepted the demand made by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and given him an important appointment. Ziaur Rehman had been posted as Deputy Commissioner Central Karachi. Zia also served as Deputy Commissioner of Khushab during the PML-N era.
His appointment as DC Karach has come under heavy criticism and it was alleged that he has been appointed on the behest of Fazl to make the upcoming opposition’s All Parties Conference a success.
