PMDC bans post-graduation training in unregistered institutions

Post-Graduation training in medical institutions not registered with Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has been banned, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to PMDC circular, an institution or specialty that is not registered will not be recognized.
PMDC approval is required before starting a post-graduation program.
Post-graduate doctors will not be registered from unregistered centers.
All medical institutions are directed to get their post-graduations registered with PMDC in advance.
