A fire erupted on Friday in a chemical warehouse at Jahanabad area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police and rescue teams rushed to the site and started operation to extinguish the fire, according to the informed sources.

The sources also said that the fire fighters were busy controlling the fire till the filing of report.

Thick fumes of smoke spread in the air following the eruption of fire in the area.
