17-year-old maid tortured to death in Jehlum over theft accusation

A 17-year-old girl working as a domestic worker was found dead in Jhelum, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
The medical report of the victim confirmed that signs of physical torture were also visible on her body.
The heirs of the victim took her dead body to their native village in Okara after the autopsy.
Police said that the house owners accused her of stealing jewellery and later physically tortured her brutally, after which she died.
Police filed a first information report (FIR) against four persons, including a husband and wife, for killing their maid.
