Khaqan Murtaza appointed CAA DG

The federal government on Friday appointed Flight Lieutenant (retired) Khaqan Murtaza as permanent Director General of Civil Aviation Authority. 

The Establishment Division issued a notification in this regard. Khaqan Murtaza also performed his duties as managing director of Utility Stores Corporation.

Couple of days ago, the Islamabad High Court declared that Aviation Secretary Hasan Nasir Jami was illegally working as acting director general (DG) of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The IHC ordered the federal government to appoint permanent director general until December 8.
