Police in Islamabad on Tuesday lodged another case against Shahnawaz Amir, son of renowned journalist Ayaz Amir, for possessing illegal weapon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police said they recovered an illegal Kalashnikov and also found the purse of Sara Inam, brutally murdered by her husband Shahnawaz a few days ago, from Shahzad Town’s residence of Ayaz Amir’s son.

The police seized UAE dirhams and US dollar from the deceased’s purse. According to police, they also found deceased’s different bank cards, debit cards and one of her shirts from the house.

The police also took into custody from the farmhouse the Mercedes car worth Rs2.5 million which Sara Inam had gifted to her husband Shahnawaz.

The police, however, could not succeed in recovering Sara Inam’s passport and her mobile phone.

Police also informed that the Sara Inam had sent the accused killer money a number of times.
