17 Khwarij terrorists killed in KP joint operation
As many as 17 Khwarij terrorists were killed any several more injured in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa city of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday, quoting security sources.
The security sources said the two-day joint operation was conducted by the security forces and police against Fitna al-Khwarij in Darshakhel area of Karak.
According to the security sources, a group of 22 Khwarij were surrounded in Darshakhel under a regular plan based on secret information.
Security sources further said that the Khwarij were targeted by the security forces by narrowing the area with great skill. Security sources also reported that seven to 10 Khwarij were seriously injured during the operation.
Security sources said that this operation in Karak was carried out on a confirmed information about the presence of Khwarij of the Mullah Nazir Group of Fitna al-Khwarij.
The security sources will never allow anyone disturb the peace of the area.

PM commends security forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday appreciated the security forces for eliminating 17 Khwarij in District Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The prime minister prayed for the swift recovery of personnel injured during the security operation, PM Office Media Wing in a press release said.
The prime minister, who is in the USA where he attended the UNGA session, besides his high-level engagements, said that due to the professionalism and timely action of the security forces, the nefarious designs of the terrorists were thwarted.
The government and the security forces were fully committed to eradicating terrorism, he said, adding they would soon uproot the menace of terrorism completely.
