Naqvi hails security forces operation killed 17 “Khawarij” terrorists

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised Pakistan’s security forces after a timely operation in Karak that, officials said, killed 17 militants affiliated with the extremist group labelled “Fitna al-Khawarij.”

In a statement on Friday, Naqvi lauded the professionalism and bravery of the troops involved, saying their decisive action thwarted the terrorists’ “nefarious designs” and prevented a larger threat to public safety. 

Naqvi paid tribute to the soldiers who, he said, “sent those terrorists to hell” and extended special commendation to the personnel whose actions led to what he described as a humiliating end for the attackers.

He also expressed prayers for the quick recovery of three security personnel who were wounded during the operation, and urged the nation to remain united behind its defenders.
