Shehbaz Sharif has decided to join the upcoming session of the National Assembly to give a tough time to Imran Khan’s government in and outside the parliament, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
He also decided to start meetings with the Senate Members of the PML-N and the party leaders especially the angry-office bearers to remove their grievances and reservations.
There are some chances of Shehbaz Sharif’s meeting with former party leader and ex-interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ahmad Khan who is considered a close friend of him. Shehbaz also decided to hold scheduled visits across Punjab to revamp the party in the near future.
Shehbaz Sharif was arrested on 28th September 2020 in the money laundering reference of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and sent to Kotlakhpat Jail. He was released from Kotlakhpat Jail on April 14, 2021, and started his political activity.
Party leaders along with a good number of workers received Shehbaz Sharif from prison and showered rose petals on him. The party leaders had declared Shehbaz Sharif’s release on bail a win of truth and proof of his innocence in the cases made by NAB.
The party leaders also said that table of politics has been changed and now as opposition leader, he will play a vital role in National Assembly as Opposition leader and would also give tough time to the PTI government.
