Illegal mine which caused landslide sealed in Abbottabad

The District Administration in Abbottabad has sealed an illegal mine after it caused a heavy landslide in Tarnawai area, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to report, a landslide occurred in a large part of the mountain due to illegal mining in Tarnawai two days ago, which damaged dozens of valuable trees, two jeeps and heavy stones fell near the settlements.
After the incident, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shamimullah visited the landslide site, where the mine has been declared illegal and sealed.
Landslides may occur further, which also poses a threat to nearby settlements.
