The Sindh government has advertised recruitment of around 1,200 subject specialists through Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), to overcome the shortage of teachers in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Masters or equivalent degree (16 years education) in relevant subjects with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent marks from an HEC recognized university was the top requirement.

The closing date for submission of the online application for 1,148 posts is accordingly extended from 1-12-2021 to 30-12-2021.

The Sindh cabinet will approve the teachers’ recruitment policy. These recruitments will be called internships.

The SPSC said that those who have already applied for the same posts need not apply again. The minimum age for applying is 21 while the maximum age for applying is 30.
