Lesco XEN escapes gun attack in Pattoki

Unidentified assailants opened fire on Naveed Bhatti, XEN Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) when he was coming out after presiding over a meeting about line losses and recovery issues in LESCO Sub-Office Pattoki, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to details, XEN Naveed Bhatti was coming out of his office after a meeting when some known accused targeted him.

Other LESCO officials includes Junaid Ali, Zulfiqar Sheikh, Naveed Bhatti save themselves by taking shelter inside building of Halla Sub Division.

Pattoki City Police Station registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of SDO Pattoki Salman Akbar.

SHO of City Police Station Abid Mehmood Cheena said that the accused who were involved in this crime will be apprehended soon.

Talking on the occasion, XEN Pattoki Naveed Bhatti said that some persons are annoyed as LESCO Phoolnagar Division taking action against culprits involved in electricity theft and not paying electricity dues.

He went on to saying that LESCO recovered millions of rupees from persons involved in electricity theft and defaulters and the on-going campaign against electricity thieves and defaulters will continue.
