A Russian man threw a Porsche Macan into the trash after his wife refused to accept it as a Valentine’s Day gift, foreign media reported.

Hoping to mend their strained marriage, the man presented his disgruntled wife with the luxury SUV, despite its existing damage, promising full restoration. However, rather than appreciating the gesture, she turned it down—leading to an impulsive act that soon became an internet sensation.

According to local media, the couple was facing marital troubles, prompting the husband to purchase the Porsche Macan.

The vehicle, however, had been previously damaged in an accident. Initially, he planned to repair it and gift it on International Women’s Day (March 8), but he decided to surprise her earlier on Valentine’s Day, wrapping it in a red ribbon.

The plan backfired spectacularly when the wife, instead of being touched, reportedly felt insulted. Her rejection pushed the frustrated husband to an extreme decision—he dumped the car into a large garbage container, leaving locals both stunned and amused.

The abandoned Porsche has remained at the site for nearly two weeks, drawing curious onlookers who stop by to take photos, turning the dumpster into an unexpected tourist attraction.
