Tiger Force Day will be celebrated on August 9

Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to mark Tiger Force Day on August 9 and paid glowing tribute to the youth of the country.

The special message of the Prime Minister was broadcasted at 12:10pm on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister announced for the opening of Tiger Force registration and appealed to the youth to join the national tree-planting campaign.

Imran Khan in his address said, “Pakistan has set the target to plant 10 billion saplings till 2023 and we will achieve this target with the help of one million registered Tiger Force members.”

“You will have to lead the tree plantation drive as we all need to understand tree plantation is need of the hour in Pakistan as the pollution in cities is rising which is affecting people’s health.”

“Secondly, Pakistan is among 10 countries that are badly hit by climate change and we need to do the plantation drive to save our future generations. Come out on August 9 and plant trees for Pakistan,” the Prime Minister said.

Those who want to be part of the tree plantation drive must register themselves as well, he added.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Usman Dar also met with premier Imran Khan in which matters pertaining to tiger Force were discussed.

24NewsHD TV channel reported that Usman Dar briefed the Prime Minister on preparations for the celebration of Tiger Force Day across the country. Usman Dar also presented the letter written by China regarding the Tiger Force to the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the global acceptance of Tiger Force.
