The government of Sindh is to take a decision on imposing a complete lockdown in Karachi for two weeks as recommended by the province’s Health Department in view of the surge in the cases of the coronavirus on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
This time the department of health and the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) are on the same page when it comes to adopting the course of action to tackle the pandemic.
The situation is so gloomy that even the federal government is not ready to take any risk.
All government and provincial government offices will remain shut during the lockdown.
It has been learnt that the Sindh government will even request the Center to stop air and rail traffic from various parts of the country to Karachi.
