Regretting the delay in the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) decision in the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) foreign funding case, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday, on behalf of all the coalition parties, demanded the ECP to announce the verdict at the earliest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“I am at a loss to understand what is now stopping the commission from deciding the fate of the case when it has already reserved its decision after holding hearings for eight years,” he said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad.

He alleged that the PTI received Rs50 billion in funds from India and Israel.
He went on to claim that it was also a proven fact that 350 foreigners and over 300 foreign firms had funded the party.
In response to the PTI’s demand for general elections in the country, the interior minister advised former prime minister and the party chairman Imran Khan to first dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assemblies.
