Hot, humid and rainy weather forecast for next 24-hours
The weather is likely to remain hot and humid in most parts of the country, with strong winds and thundershowers expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North-East Punjab, and the Pothohar region, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In Islamabad, apart from cloudy skies, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in Islamabad and its surrounding areas. Heavy rain is also expected during this time.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain with strong winds and thundershowers is expected in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Malakand, Mardan, Swabi, Peshawar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, Khyber, and Kazai, Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Tank. Heavy/thunderous rain is also expected at a few places during this period.
In Punjab, the rain with strong winds and thundershowers is expected at isolated places in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Chakwal, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Narowal, Lahore, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, and Khushab. During this time, heavy/thunderous rain is also likely at isolated places. Weather is likely to remain hot and humid in other parts of the province.
In Balochistan, the weather is likely to remain hot and humid in most districts of the province. However, rain is likely in Barkhan, Musikhel, Lo Ra Lai, Khuzdar, Eswaran, and adjacent areas. In Sindh, the weather is likely to remain humid and partly cloudy in most districts of the province. However, rain with strong winds and thundershowers is expected at a few places in Umerkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Mithi, and Mirpur Khas. In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather will remain partly cloudy with the possibility of rain at a few places along with strong winds and thundershowers.
