Tezgam Express coach derails near Hyderabad

A coach of the Tezgam Express travelling from Karachi to Punjab derailed near Hyderabad on Tuesday, affecting train movement on the up track.

According to railway officials, the 7-Up Tezgam Express met with an accident while crossing the Kotri Bridge and entering the limits of Hyderabad.

Officials said that no casualties were reported in the incident. The coach attached to the front of the train with the engine had derailed.

The Railways technical staff reached the scene after the accident, while the engine was separated from the derailed coach as part of the restoration efforts.

The derailment affected the movement of trains on the up track, and railway teams started work to restore the derailed coach and clear the track.
