Prime Minister Imran Khan is in action to get the federal budget 2021-22 sailed through the National Assembly, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.

The report cited sources as saying that the premier put off the federal cabinet meeting scheduled to be held tomorrow and he would be present at his chamber in the National Assembly.

PM Imran Khan directed lawmakers of ruling coalition to stay in the federal cabinet till the budget approvael, the insiders said, adding that state minister Amir Dogar has been assigned the task to ensure the presence of MNAs of ruling coalition for the purpose.

Imran Khan had also invited the parliamentarian from the the allies to a dinner at the PM Office, an earlier report said citing sources. The event, the insiders added, too has been planned for the passage of budget by the National Assembly.
