Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik said government will reduce the prices of petroleum as soon as prices return to the world market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Talking to media in Lahore at Bhogaywal, Ali Pervez Malik said, 'I have not received any letter from the oil companies, but they definitely came to meet me and told me their problems, and I listened to them.'

He said Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered me not to tolerate any pressure in public service.

He said we are active regarding the reduction in oil prices.

Thank God that this time has passed, and now good times are coming, Ali Pervez said.

He said there has been a large reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel, and we have reduced the price more than the price that has decreased in the world market.
