The streetlights in the Punjab capital Lahore are not working, according to  24NewsHD TV channel.

The streetlights in most parts of Lahore are not working, leaving the provincial capital in darkness.

The affected areas include Peaco Road, Wahdat Road, Phatak Chowk, Garden Town, Muslim Town, Campus Bridge and Barkat Market.

Shutting down the street lights increased the risk of crime and accidents.

Citizens have raised concerns about the issue and made an appeal to the authorities concerns to address the matter.
