Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Wednesday has warned India against aggression, saying that Islamabad’s endeavours for regional peace must not be considered weakness.
Shooting down Indian spy drone is a clear message for Delhi that the Pak Army, backed by the nation, is fully prepared to react to such an act befittingly, the FM insisted.
India has been on a campaign to damage Islamabad’s efforts for peace in the region, he said adding that Islamabad won’t be impatience.
Delhi must keep in mind that Islamabad’s peace efforts were not its weakness. It would receive a befitting response.
Earlier, the Pakistani troops shot down an Indian spy drone that violated the country’s airspace along the Line of Control (LoC). The drone was brought down in the Rakhchikri Sector of the heavily militarised zone after it intruded 650 metres into the Pakistani territory, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Major General Babar Iftikhar said in a statement.
