The gold prices increased in Pakistan on Thursday as per tola price enhanced by Rs400.

According to the Sindh Jewellers Association, Rs400 increase in the gold prices took the per tola price to Rs96,400, while the price of 10 gram gold increased by Rs342 to touch Rs82,647. The price of 22-carat gold now stands at Rs75,760 per 10 gram.

In contrast to the increase in gold prices in Pakistan, the association said, gold prices have plummeted in the international market. However, the increase in the gold prices in Pakistan is the result of depreciation of Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.
