Khalil ur Rehman Qamar takes sharp dig at ‘Cocaine Queen’ Anmol Pinky
Popular Pakistani writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has made strong remarks regarding the viral “Anmol urf Pinki” case during his appearance on the Rehan Tariq Show on 24Plus.
During the candid discussion, the host referred to the viral controversy by saying:
“Guzishta ek haftay sy hum log Anmol urf Pinki, cocaine queen, Pinki brand ke baare mein sun rahay hain, aap ny bhi dekha hoga, so what was that?” (For the past week, people have been hearing about Anmol, also known as Pinki, the ‘Cocaine Queen’ and ‘Pinki Brand.’ You must have seen it too, so what was all that about?)
Responding to the question, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar said:
“Jab Anmol ki tarha ke kaam kiye jayein gy na tou rang pink ho jaye gy, rang kaiyon ky pink hony waly hain.” (When people engage in activities like Anmol’s, then their colors will turn pink. Many people’s colors are about to turn pink.)
He further added:
“Dekho ek baat mein bataoun, agar hum in umra ki buraiyon ka chatta kholain tou Khuda ki kasam hamary muuh sy pukarein nikalin gi.” (Let me tell you one thing, if we expose the wrongdoings of the elite class, I swear we would be left shocked and speechless.)
The writer also claimed that such expensive substances are beyond the reach of ordinary people.
“Ye bara mehnga nasha hai, ek sada admi khareed nahi sakta.” (This is a very expensive addiction; an ordinary person cannot afford it.)
He further suggested that influential names may never publicly surface because, according to him, matters are often settled quietly behind closed doors.
During the conversation, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar also referenced model Ayyan Ali while discussing high profile controversies, stating that society often reacts differently when influential individuals are involved.

Continuing his remarks, the writer criticized societal hypocrisy and economic insensitivity, saying:
“Hum to woh log hain jo sara din muhib-ul-watni ki baatein kartay hain aur raat ko dost sy kehtay hain ky petrol dalwa do mehnga hony laga hai.” (We are the kind of people who talk about patriotism all day, but at night ask friends to pay for petrol because it has become expensive.)

He concluded his discussion by expressing concern over societal decline, stating that nations begin to deteriorate when respect for words, truth, and meaningful dialogue disappears.
