FIA arrests passenger with 50,000 Saudi riyals

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration officials on Monday arrested two passengers at Islamabad Airport and recovered 50,000 Saudi riyals from one of them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to FIA, accused Habib Karim, resident of Mardan, was going to Dubai by AirBlue flight when he was caught by immigration officials while trying to smuggle 50,000 Saudi riyals.
Meanwhile, FIA immigration officials took prudent action and also nabbed hundi referral agent Ejaz after extracting information from the accused.
On the other hand, a raiding team led by SHO Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore Raja Shehzad arrested an agent Safar Ahmed who was involved in human trafficking.
The agent was arrested from Mandi Bahauddin on the identification of a deportee.
It was learnt that the accused was involved in sending locals to foreign countries through illegal means.
The accused took millions from a number of complainants by pretending to get them jobs abroad.
Further investigations against the accused are going on.
Both the accused were handed over to FIA Commercial Banking Circle Islamabad for further legal action.
