Five mourners die in Gilgit van plunge

Five mourners died and 17 others injured when a van they were travelling in met an accident in Gilgit on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Mazda van as per reports fell in a ravine. According to Rescue sources, a search was under way as there were reports that many people travelling in the vehicle were missing.
The mourners were travelling from Jotal to Gilgit to take part in a chehlum procession.
The Gilgit Baltistan government has declared an emergency in all the hospitals of Gilgit city.
