Met Office predicts more rains for Karachi

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and strong monsoon currents are penetrating in Sindh including Karachi and are likely to continue during the next few days, reported 24NnewsHD TV channel.
Karachi weather office predicted that the maximum temperature in the city is expected to be 36 to 38 degrees Celsius and the current temperature in the city was 30 degrees Celsius. The humidity in the air at present was 70 percent.
On Monday, a fresh spell of monsoon entered the port city leaving streets and roads inundated with water while weather office forecasted more rains in the sprawling city of Karachi on Tuesday.
The weather office predicted mainly dry weather in most upper and central parts of the country, however, rain-wind/thundershower at isolated places in Sindh, south Punjab, south Balochistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.
Past 24 Hour (Monday) Weather: Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower occurred in Chhor, Sakrand, Badin, Karachi, Mithi, Shaheed Benazirabad and Kashmir.

Monday’s highest maximum temperature’s (°C): Sibbi 42, Hyderabad, Turbat and Lasbella 41.
