Ishaq Dar urges national players to enter India final in state of ablution

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has called upon the Pakistan cricket team to step onto the field in a state of ablution (wudu) for tonight’s high-stakes Pakistan-India final, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

Dar highlighted the spiritual value of ritual purity, recalling that some of the most celebrated players in cricket history had made it a practice to enter the ground after performing ablution.

Dar elaborated that this practice was not new but was a tradition followed by the great players of the past, who also entered the ground in a state of ritual purity.

He claimed that these legendary cricketers established their remarkable records while adhering to this personal religious practice.

"I know this as their personal secret," Dar stated, emphasizing his close personal knowledge of the former stars' routines, suggesting a spiritual dimension behind their on-field successes.
