The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Wednesday gave permission to Flydubai Airline to land at Multan International Airport bringing over 200 stranded Pakistanis from Dubai.

CAA Director Air Transport issued the notification in this regard, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Flydubai special flight will land at Multan Airport on May 1. As per CAA, crew members of the plane would not be allowed to come outside the plane.

After bringing the Pakistanis, the special flight would carry cargo from Multan Airport back to Dubai.

It is pertinent to mention that as per the decision of the Government of Pakistan, the suspension of international flight operations as effected earlier has already been extended up to Friday, May 15, 2020 at 23:59 hours PST.

“Remaining provisions as applicable to the suspension of International flights reflected in previous orders remain unchanged,” CAA said.
