Faisalabad district election commissioner to move SJC against CEC
Writes letter to commission secretary seeking assets details of Raja and his eldest son
Faisalabad District Election Commissioner Irfan Kausar has decided to move the Supreme Judicial Council against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the district election commissioner wrote a letter to the commission secretary.
He sought Raja’s asset details before and after becoming the CEC. In the letter, the asset record of Raja’s eldest son, minutes of DDWP meetings in 2022 and 2023, and detail of funds provided to PWD. Have also been sought.
The district election commissioner sought the details of the seniority list of the officers from grade 17 to 21 in the Election Commission.
All information must be provided by May 5, the letter demanded
