Half of Gulf flight operations resumed

A marginal increase is being witnessed in the number of flight operations for Gulf countries, which were badly affected due to the US-Iran war, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.

According to details, the majority of flights departed for Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

As per the airport sources, 23 flights departed for different Gulf countries, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore.

17 more flights departed, which had failed to depart earlier due to thunderstorms and rain in Lahore.

Airport sources further revealed that in case there is any progress in Iran-US peace talks, flight schedules will gradually improve.
