ACE books politicians on corruption charges

The Anti Corruption Establishment has tightened the noose on influential personalities, especially Sardars, accused of occupying thousands of kanals of state lands by unfair means.
The establishment launched an operation and registered separate cases against former Punjab assembly deputy speaker Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, son of an ex-lawmaker, Sardar Rehan Mazari and his cousin Sardar Hamza Khan Mazari on alleged misappropriations.
Sher Ali and scores of others have been booked on charges of occupying forest department’s land spanning more than 6,000-Kanal
Sardar Rehan Mazari, son of ex-lawmaker, and his cousin Hamza are facing charges of occupying more than 7,000-kanal state land.
