Sanam Bhutto paid tribute to former prime minister Benazir Bhutto at an event organised by the Europe chapter of PPP in connection with the latter’s death anniversary.

She said that there was only one Benazir and no replacement for her. Benazir Bhutto always spoke for the poor that’s why she had enemies, she said.

“Bilawal Bhutto is very much like his mother. Like her brave mother, Aseefa Bhutto will also earn respect,” she said. 

She praised the PPP supporters for standing by their leaders, saying that the sacrifices of the workers are unforgettable. 

Like across the country, the supporters of Benazir Bhutto marked the death anniversary of the first woman premier of a Muslim state.  On December 27, 2007, the former prime minister died in an attack in Rawalpindi.
