At least three people were killed and another injured in separate road accidents here on Tuesday.

Police said that an unidentified vehicle hit a motorcycle carrying two people in Rahim Yar Khan city and sped the scene. A woman Shazia Majid was killed on the spot in the accident while her son Noman Majid was critically injured.

The second accident took place on National Highway where an LPG tanker caught fire after hitting a motorcycle. Two people including Muhammad Akhtar 22, and Rimsha 05, were burnt alive in the fire and Shamshad Bibi 15, fortunately survived unhurt.

The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals and police after registering separate cases at concerned police stations started investigation.
