ECP plans second phase of KP LG election in March

The Election Commission has decided to conduct the second phase of local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in March, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday 

In the second phase, local body elections will be held in 18 districts including Hazara and Malakand divisions.

In the first phase of LG elections voting-related violence claimed four lives. Two people were killed and six others were injured in a suicide blast in Bajaur's Mamond tehsil while another two people were killed in a firing incident near a polling station in Takht Nusrati tehsil of Karak.

In Nowshera's Mir Misri Banda area where a women's polling station was attacked during polling.
