January 29, 2020 03:14 PM

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed prevailing situation in the province.

The meeting came in the backdrop of Balochistan Assembly Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo’s threat to move a no-confidence motion against Jam Kamal.

Bizenjo recently held talks with Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and Defence Minister Parvez Khattak in Islamabad and with PML-Q chief Ch Shujaat Hussain in Lahore.

Talking to media after the meeting on Sunday last, Sanjrani said that the reservations of Bizenjo had been heard and would be addressed on priority. “We are satisfied with the performance of the CM and have resolved tensions between Kamal and Bizenjo,” said Sanjrani.

However according to a statement issued by the PM Office in Islamabad after the meeting between the prime minister and the chief minister on Wednesday, the two discussed the ongoing development projects and other matters related to the province.
