Inspector General Sindh Kaleem Imam called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the PM Office, the meeting discussed law and order situation in the province and other matters.

As reported by 24Newshd.TV, the federal government has decided to appoint Kaleem Imam as Secretary Narcotics Division. The post will become vacant after two days following retirement of incumbent secretary Amjad Javed Saleemi on January 31.

The Federal Cabinet on Tuesday referred the matter of IGP’s transfer from Sindh back to the governor and the chief minister.
