International travel restrictions and social distancing amid coronavirus pandemic have failed to put any hurdle on the wedding plans of a couple from Pakistan and India, even while physically separated by hundreds of kilometres, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
All hopes were doomed when indicators suggest coronavirus would not just go away any time sooner, then lovebirds Fizza from India and Ikram Naeem from Pakistan tied the knot on a video call.
The test does not just stop here as the newly-married couple are job-holders in Dubai but they could not go to Dubai amid air-travel restrictions due to COVID-19.
The cross-border virtual wedding was attended by family and friends. Both were planning their wedding but the pandemic threw their plans into disarray.
Wedding guests attended digital nuptial and extended their wishes to the newly-wed couple.
