PPSC announces schedule of psychological and interview test for various posts
Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced the schedule for psychological tests and interviews for shortlisted candidates for various posts in different departments, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the PPSC, candidates who have passed the written exam will be evaluated further through psychological tests and interviews before the final panel interview.
Secretary PPSC, Afzal Ahmad, issued the official notification for the successful candidates. Psychological tests were also conducted for candidates who passed the PMS 2023 examination. The tests took place under the supervision of senior psychologist Qudsia Nasreen and included candidates from the Rawalpindi region. After clearing the psychological tests, candidates will be called for final interviews. Refreshments were arranged for the participants during the testing process.
In the Local Government Department, 5,836 candidates qualified for the English essay test for 20 posts of Chief Officer. The successful candidates are Muhammad Umami Majeed, Malik Muhammad Ahsan Javed, Haider Ali, and Muhammad Adnan.
In the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department, one candidate, Muhammad Jameel, succeeded under the disabled quota for the post of Mentor/Social Need Officer. In the Revenue Department, Sialkot, 72 candidates qualified for the typing test for Junior Clerk posts, including Madiha Sarfraz, Sidra Bano, and Aisha.
Other successful candidates include Muhammad Hasnain for Sub-Divisional Officer in the Sports Board Punjab, Ahmad Ali Akbar for Civil Engineer in the Punjab Small Industries Corporation, and 12 candidates for Auditor posts in the Finance Department (Local Fund Audit), such as Anum Zaid and Abid Hussain. For Junior Clerk positions in the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund, 360 candidates passed the written test, including Ayesha, Anum Iqbal, and Kashmala Shakeel. In the Multan Commissioner Office, three candidates—Abdul Rauf, Muhammad Faisal, and Muhammad Anwar—were finally selected for Assistant posts.
In the Punjab Police Special Branch, Ghulam Murtaza succeeded for the post of Technical Officer (Maintenance). Madiha Rashid qualified for an interview for the Planning Officer post in the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department. Ten candidates, including Hamza Amin, Ali Hassan, and Aamna Nazir, were shortlisted for interviews for the post of Assistant Director (Assessment & Collection) at WASA Rawalpindi.
In the Specialized Healthcare Department, Dr. Faisal Waheed (Assistant Professor Neurosurgery), Dr. Mubashir Iqbal (Associate Professor Anesthesia), and Dr. Maryam Fatima (Specialist Pulmonology) were successful. Additionally, five candidates passed the written test for the post of Assistant Director (Planning & Development) at WASA Rawalpindi.
Fourteen candidates qualified in Rawalpindi Development Authority for Assistant Director Engineering, while five passed in the Faisalabad Development Authority for Assistant Director Civil posts.
Sixty-nine candidates succeeded in the written test for Assistant Director/SDO (Civil) at WASA Lahore, including Ali Nawaz, Muhammad Shoaib, and Usman Butt. Call letters for interviews will soon be uploaded to the PPSC website, and candidates will also be informed via SMS and email.
