Prime Minister Imran Khan at the National Assembly that approved the federal budget.
A meeting of the government with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair decided that the premier will address the concluding budget session today, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in his speech at the event that he greeted the nation on budget approval in the National Assembly as the session was held in the best manners.
Tomorrow, the prime minister will share his thoughts on the floor of the house, the FM said, adding that like today, tomorrow will also dawn with pleasant circumstances.
Shah Mahmood said Zulfi Bukhari has given his explanation on a report claiming the former secretly visited Israel.
In a tweet, Zulfi ridiculed the report, saying: "[I] did not go to Israel. Funny bit is Pakistani paper says I went to Israel based on 'Israeli news source' and Israeli paper says I went to Israel based on a Pakistani source – wonder who this imaginative Pakistani source is."
Also, the Foreign Office had issued a statement rubbishing the report that invited ire among the opposition parties and one of them raised the demand for revealing the details.
The foreign minister said that former PM aide rejected the report categorically. He said a special meeting to dilate upon the national security will be held on July 1.
